kizamu ("the App") respects the privacy of its users and is committed to protecting personal information. This Policy sets out the information the App collects and how it is handled.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information (email address, username, profile image, etc.)
- Usage data (recorded books and films, learning journal entries ("today's learning"), carve cards, resurfacing status, etc.)
- Device and usage information (app usage, screen navigation, crash information, device type, OS version, etc.)
2. Purpose of Use
- To provide App features (recording learning, support in condensing it into a 60-character line, carve card generation, resurfacing reminders, visualization of learning progress)
- To maintain and improve the service, and to analyze and improve the quality of issues
- To analyze usage trends and optimize features (including A/B testing)
- To respond to inquiries
3. External Services Used
The App uses the following external services. Handling of information by each service follows the respective provider's policy.
- Supabase: Authentication, database, and storage (storing account information and usage data)
- Firebase (Google): Analytics (usage measurement), Crashlytics (crash analysis), Remote Config (feature delivery control/A-B testing), App Distribution (test distribution)
- Rakuten Books API / TMDB: Retrieval of book and film information
- Google Gemini (generative AI): Generating candidate lines to condense "today's learning" into 60 characters (entered learning text is processed via the server)
4. Analytics and Measurement
To improve quality, the App collects screen navigation and usage information via Firebase Analytics, and crash information via Firebase Crashlytics. These are used for statistical analysis and troubleshooting purposes, not for identifying individuals.
5. Third-Party Disclosure
The operator does not disclose personal information to third parties without the user's consent, except where required by law.
6. Information Management
The operator takes necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of the information obtained, and for other security management purposes.
7. User Rights
Users may request disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of their own personal information. Account deletion can be performed from the settings within the App.
8. Changes to This Policy
The operator may change this Policy as necessary. Material changes will be notified within the App or on this page.
